Netflix documentary series.
Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter (Netflix) required invisible image work across a mix of archival photos, stills and lower-quality video. Because of NDAs, I can’t share specifics or show production frames; the description below stays at a high level.
I used traditional VFX techniques to build precise, conform-safe comps—clean plates, seamless blends, re-grain and look-matching—so every fix would hold up on a big screen without drawing attention to itself. Where footage or imagery was degraded, I applied custom AI restoration models under tight controls to recover detail and stability, always following industry guidelines and preserving the truth of the material.
The outcome is exactly what it needed to be: quiet, coherent pictures that feel naturally photographed, letting the film’s story lead while the craft remains unseen.
